LOOK! MPC-EOSH Team conducts fire and earthquake drill, today, March 18, 2025 in coordination with the Marikina City Fire Brigade. The drill was spearheaded by Dr. Sheila Orozco, OIC-Director, MPC-EOSH.

March is officially declared as the Fire Prevention Month or Burn Prevention Month by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A s. 1966. The proclamation is aimed at promoting fire safety awareness and prevention in the hopes of mitigating the high incidents of fire incidents across the country.

Consistent with this year’s theme “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa”, the fire drill was participated by students, faculty, and employees, training each sector in putting out fire using fire extinguishers and firehose, a high-pressure hose that carries water or fire retardants into the fire. A fire fighter assisted the student, the faculty and employee, in the exercise.
