October 6, 2025 – A tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was formally signed among Thynk Cooperative Union Inc., the Marikina Polytechnic College Alumni Association, and Wonderful International Service Inc. on October 6, 2025, at the 1st Floor of the New Academic Building of Marikina Polytechnic College (MPC).

The ceremony, held at 10:00 a.m., marked a significant milestone in fostering international collaboration and creating global career pathways for MPC students and alumni. Representing the three institutions were Dr. Christian S. Canlas, Alumni Trustee of the MPC Alumni Association; Mr. Lyota Marui, President of Thynk Cooperative Union Inc.; and Mr. Yosuke Suzuki, CEO of Wonderful International Service Inc.

The program opened with Prof. Annabelle S. Jamon, Vice President of the MPC Alumni Association, who delivered the welcome remarks, highlighting the association’s continuing efforts to strengthen partnerships that benefit both alumni and current students.

Dr. Glen R. Mangali, Vice President for Planning, Research, Extension, Linkages, and Quality Assurance (VPPRELQAP), also graced the event and delivered an inspirational message on behalf of Dr. Rene M. Colocar, College President. In his message, Dr. Mangali emphasized the importance of global linkages in enriching students’ learning experiences and expanding opportunities beyond local boundaries.

The agreement seeks to enhance cooperation in training, employment, and international exposure, reinforcing MPC’s mission of producing industry-ready and globally competitive graduates.

Present during the ceremony were some FSM faculty-officers of the MPC Alumni Association and FSM students, who witnessed the signing. The program was hosted by Ms. Escorpizo and Hon. Veronica Damian, Student Trustee of the MPC Board.

This partnership highlights MPC’s steadfast commitment to bridging education and industry through international collaboration, alumni engagement, and shared goals for professional excellence.
