The Marikina Polytechnic College (MPC) ReSOLES Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Team recently participated in a significant Foreign Study Mission to Taipei, Taiwan. Led by Prof. Jerry F. Napay, Dr. Arnold Johnsen R. Acedera, Dr. Mary Grace P. Goño, and Mr. Jezreel M. Llanera, TBI Manager, the delegation was accompanied by Trustee Roger Py, MPC-BOT Member and Director General of Philippine Footwear Federation, Inc.

During their visit from June 30 to July 4, 2025, the team engaged with key stakeholders in Taiwan’s footwear industry. They were warmly invited by Mr. Kevin Wu, Chairperson of the Taiwan Footwear Manufacturer’s Association.

The delegation explored potential areas of collaboration and mutual interest with the Taiwan Footwear Manufacturer’s Association. They also visited the innovative Footwear and Recreation Technology Research Institute facility. This mission aimed to foster unity, share advancements in footwear technology, and strengthen partnerships between MPC ReSOLES TBI and Taiwanese industry leaders.

This strategic initiative underscores MPC’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements and industry best practices, ultimately benefiting the local footwear industry and beyond.
