DAY 1: The Marikina Polytechnic College through the leadership of the College President, Dr. Rene M. Colocar and VPAA Ma. Arra B. Santos, together with the Curriculum and Instructional Materials Development Office (CIMDO) under the direction of Prof. Angelo V. Jabilles, Director, CIMDO, conducts a 2-day Seminar and Writeshop on Curriculum Review and Revision of the Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTed) and TCP at the Function Hall, 2F Academic Building, from May 27-28, 2025.
The event aims to diagnose and align the BTVTED curriculum and TCP programs to ensuring they meet industry needs and stakeholder expectations. This initiative underscores MPC’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and training.
The guest speaker, Dr. Neil Andrew F. Calayag, Department Head of the Professional Industrial Education Department at Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Manila, shared his expertise in conducting curriculum mapping.
VPAA delivered the Curriculum Review Orientation to the participants while Dr. Rene M. Colocar delivered a short inspirational message. Ms. Maria Criselda R. Santos and Ms. Rosalinda L. Caballero are the Masters of Ceremonies for day 1 and day 2, respectively.
