Establishment of Footwear Innovation and Technology (FIT) Research Laboratory

The MPC Research and Development Office would like to congratulate the MPC FIT Core Group for having its project entitled “Establishment of Footwear Innovation and Technology (FIT) Research Laboratory” for receiving a Five Million Grant under DOST PCIEERD Institutional Development Program.
The project is initiated by Ms Ma. Arra B. Santos who submitted and presented the proposal for technical evaluation. Then upon series of consultations and meeting, the FIT Core Group is established with Mr. Nelson O. Arguilles, as the project leader, Mrs Anna Khristina Buday, Mr. Arnold Yasay, Mr. Reymart Dellomas, Mrs Marcela M. Bungag, Mrs Emelyn Dela Paz, Mrs Paula Pervera, Engr. Justin Lorenz Lim, Engr. Kenneth Padua, and Ms Djustine Obispo.
The FIT Core Group is working together to establish the FIT Research Laboratory in MPC to support scientific researches on footwear designing and prototyping; to provide technical services; and to train students, faculty, and technopreneurs in know-how for footwear digital designing, prototyping, and marketing.
