Today, November 30, 2022, is a national public holiday in the Philippines, celebrated every November 30 to remember the birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio.
One of the founding members of the Katipunan, an underground group of revolutionaries, was Bonifacio. He started the Philippine revolution against the Spanish Empire and is referred to as the “Father of the Philippine Revolution.”
