Admission Policies
I. ADMISSION
- A. FRESHMAN COLLEGE
- Student applicant shall pass the entrance examination and interview and must meet the prescribed admission requirements of the College prior to
- Student applicant shall be admitted regardless of age, gender, nationality, religious beliefs, socio—economic status or political affiliation including those who were previously enrolled in any public or private higher learning
- No student shall be admitted during the second
- Student who enrolled in other higher educational institutions prior to their enrolment in this College shall be classified as

- Student transferee shall undergo a probationary period of one year in non-degree program before shifting to Bachelor’s

- Student transferee who enrolled in vocation course or non-credit program shall be admitted as first year student and shall undergo a probationary period of one year in non—degree program before shifting to Bachelor’s
- Alternative Learning System (ALS)/ Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) passer shall be admitted in the non-degree program as probationary period of one year before shifting to Bachelor’s
- Student must meet the following average requirement upon admission:
- An applicant in Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education should have obtained in Senior High School an average of at least 85% or its
- An applicant in Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT) should have obtained an average grade of at least 82% in Senior High School or its
- An applicant of Certificate of Technology (COT) should have obtained an average grade of at least 80% in Senior High School or its
- Student shall abide and comply with all the rules and regulations of the
- B. SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
- Student applicant shall pass the Admission Test and Interview for Senior High
- An average of at least 80% is required to a Grade 11
- No transferee is accepted in Grade
- C. CROSS-ENROLLEES
- Enrollees from other institutions shall present a cross-registration permit from mother
- Admission of cross-enrollees is subject to availability of
- Cross-enrolment shall be done within the period of
- Cross-enrolment of subject outside the College must have the approval of the Dean and authorized by the Registrar for the subject/s to be given credit by the
- D. SHIFTERS
- Shifting of course shall be allowed based on the scholastic performance of the
- Shifter shall secure Shifting Form at the Registrar’s
- Shifter shall seek the approval / acceptance of the concerned Department Head and Dean of the new
- E. RETURNEES
- Returning student whose studies in the College were discontinued for a period of
- Student may be considered for re-admission based on his / her previous academic
- F. CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
- A CPE student applicant is a bachelor’s degree holder who intends to take Professional Education
- Applicant shall meet the prescribed requirements of the
- Students are allowed to take a maximum of nine (9) units in a semester.
- G. GRADUATE PROGRAM
- Applicant for admission to the master’s and doctorate degree programs shall meet the required educational background to qualify for admission. The completion of the 18 academic units for non-education graduates for master’s degree and 9 major educational management units for MAT, MTE and other academic and technology major applicants to the doctorate degree program shall be complied. (Refer to the graduate school manual for)

- Applicant shall pass the qualifying examination in the master’s and doctorate degree programs administered by the Admission Committee headed by the Graduate
II. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND INTERVIEW APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- A. ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONThe following documents shall be submitted to the Admission Officer along with the original copy for verification:
- For Freshmen College and Grade 11 applicants
- Photo copy of Grades (Form 138)
- Photo copy of Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Three (3) pieces 2”X2” colored pictures with name tag
- For ALS/PEPT passer
- Photo copy of Certificate of Rating (COR)
- Three (3) pieces 2”X2” colored pictures with name tag
- For transferee
- Photo copy of Transcript of Records / Certificate of Grades
- Photo copy of Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Photo copy of Honorable Dismissal Certificate or Transfer Credentials
- Three (3) pieces 2”X2” colored pictures with name tag
- For Freshmen College and Grade 11 applicants
- B. INTERVIEW
- Present original copy of final grade to the
- Submit the completed interview slip for college applicant and preference slip for Grade 11
- No body tattoo for male and female student
- No earring/s and pierced ear/s for male
III. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS OF QUALIFIED STUDENTS
- A. FRESHMAN COLLEGE
- Original Copy of Senior High School Card with General Average of at least:
- 85% or its equivalent for BTVTED Program
- 82% or its equivalent for BIT Program
- 80% or its equivalent for COT Program
- Original Copy of Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Original copy of Birth Certificate (PSA / NSO copy)
- One (1) piece 2”x 2” colored, studio copy picture with name tag
- Passed the College Entrance Examination and Interview
- Medical Certificate from private or government physician
- No BODY TATOO for male and female students
- Proper haircut and no dye colored hair for male students
- Original Copy of Senior High School Card with General Average of at least:
- B. TRANSFEREE
- Original copy of Transcript of Records / Certificate of Grades
- Original copy of Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Original copy of Honorable Dismissal or Certificate of Transfer Credentials
- Original copy of Birth Certificate (PSA / NSO copy)
- One (1) piece 2”x 2” colored, studio copy picture with name tag
- Passed the College Entrance Examination and Interview
- Medical Certificate from private or government physician
- No BODY TATOO for male and female students
- No EARRING/S and or PIERCED EAR/S for male students
- Proper haircut and no dye colored hair for male students
- C. ALS/ PEPT PASSER
- Original copy of Certificate of Rating
- Original copy of Birth Certificate (PSA / NSO copy)

- D. SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (GRADE 11)
- Original Copy of Junior High School Card with General Average of at least 80%
- Original Copy of Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Original copy of Birth Certificate (PSA / NSO copy)
- One (1) piece 2”x 2” colored, studio copy picture with name tag
- Passed the Admission Test and Interview for Senior High School
- Medical Certificate from private or government physician
- No BODY TATOO for male and female students
- No EARRING/S and or PIERCED EAR/S for male students
- Proper haircut and no dye colored hair for male students
- E. GRADUATE PROGRAM
- Original copy of Transcript of Records
- Original Certificate of Transfer Credentials
- One (1) piece 2”x2” ID picture with white background
- Original Marriage Certificate (PSA/NSO) for female married student
- Applicants must present a permit to study if they are working students
- F. EVOC (SHORT TERM COURSES)
- Photocopy of any valid school credential (e g. High School Card, Diploma, Transcript of Records)
- Recent original Barangay Clearance
- Two (2) pieces 2" x 2" colored ID picture
- Payment of training and other fees
IV. REGISTRATION
- A. REGISTRATION
- Registration of students shall be done on the regular registration period indicated in the academic
- Previous registration form and student ID are required as credentials for enrollment of old
- Registration of a returning student is dependent on his previous scholastic
- Rules on prerequisites/eligibility requirements shall be observed and followed during
- Only students who are officially enrolled are allowed to attend classes.
- A student must be officially enrolled in order to receive credit for course
- A student is not allowed to enroll in more than one course during his stay in the
- A maximum of six (6) class hours grace period shall be given to late enrollees duly recommended by the Registrar and approved by the Vice-President for Academic
- Replacement fee of Php 100.00 is charged to student for replacement/issuance of second copy of lost registration/forms issued by the Registrar’s
V. ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
- A. NEW STUDENTS
- Submit the original copy of the complete admission requirements (senior high school report card, certificate of good moral character, PSA/NSO Birth Certificate, and one (1) piece 2”x2” ID picture at the Registrar’s
- Secure copy of the pre-registration form from the Registrar’s Office and write all required information completely and
- Return the filled-up pre-registration form for evaluation and secure the print-out stamped Registration Form at the Registrar’s
- Secure payment slip for college, PE and technology uniforms and pay at the Cashier’s
- Present the official receipt at the IGP Room to claim the
- Proceed to the Library for the Library ID, Medical Clinic for the Medical Exam, and Guidance Office for the Student
- Proceed to the designated area for ID picture-taking upon presentation of the registration
- B. OLD STUDENTS
- Registration Form from previous semester and school year

- C. NEW AND OLD STUDENTS SHALL UNDERTAKE TJE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES
- Secure copy of the pre-registration form from the Registrar’s Office and fill-out all required information completely and
- Return the filled-out pre-registration form for evaluation and secure the print-out stamped Registration Form at the Registrar’s Office.
- Proceed to the IGP office to claim your P.E./NSTP/Technology and College uniforms upon the presentation of official
- New student shall proceed to the Library to secure his/her Library Card; Medical Clinic for Physical Examination; and to the Guidance Office for the Student Inventory. Old student shall proceed to the Library for the Library Card validation and to the Guidance Office for school ID
- New student shall proceed to designated area for ID picture-taking after complying with the requirements of the following offices: Library, Medical Clinic and Guidance
